So it's Fri the 13th, I get my car back from the eletrical shop. I'm leaving Socali in 2.5 hours to fly to Ga to visit some family. I think the car ran good driving back from the shop I'll take it out for a spin around town. There I am driving around my ugly looking pos 240sx. While merging onto another fwy I smell coolant?!?!? I take a glance at the temp gauge and it's getting hot. I get off at the next exit and see steam coming from under the hood. I pop it and see I have a small coolant leak near the back of the intake manifold!!!!!. Now Im mad because before I did the swap last year I checked the hoses because I didn't want this to happen to me. At this point I'm pretty mad so I just jump into the car and drive it home.

Almost home and the car starts to smoke a lil (me thinks the oil is starting to burn up now) lifters started to make a lil noise as I coasted into the driveway. I grab the water hose and take the cap off and to my suprise there isn't any coolant in there!!!!. So I start to add some coolant and start the car up. The lil leak is now major and it's just pooring out on the floor. So I get the water hose and start to flush out my motor and try to cool it down. I shut the car down and come back out 30min to see if it will even start up and it dose. Didn't sound messed up but I got a good feeling that my headgasket is prob dead I won't know till I get back into town and fix the problem and test it out. Ohhh yeah one of my Felxa lite fans died on me. I think it was causing my some of my eletrical problems too so I have to order some new ones . so lets take some bets who thinks I killed the head gasket and the motor? I'm only mad because I'm started to get old and don't want to spend alot of money on the car but I'm only fooling myself. I'm going to have to spend alot more on it that I have been doing. On a side note my Ripps intake manifold should be here soon

Sorry to hear that bro that sucksHopefully its just one of the heater lines or ITM coolant lines.

If you need a Electric Fan i have a SPAL 13" pusher fan and I also have a RB20DET Nissan gasket kit.

Hopefully it just a hose or something stupid

Not really. Chose to catch my flight or wait for a tow truck to pick me up and drop of my car at the house. I chose not to miss the flight, it's just a motor and It's not that much money in the end.

Well I found the problem today after work. It was the hose coming form the block going to a pipe going to the intakemanifold. Had to yank the starter off to change the hose but that did it. Filled her up checked for bubbles, let it sit for a while. Got the air out of the system and took her for a hard spin. The kinda spin that if the motor isn't healthy something is going to happen . . . .nothing ran like a champ. I guess the "Race Bread" motors are pretty strong.
