A powerful truck with nothing in the bed, many suspension mods, and a good driver.

Rather stupid thing to fight over, the car doesn't matter as much as the driver and suspension/powerplant modifications.

I agree, the driver is the key component.

For example, when I see John Petrucci causing people's heads to explode with awesomeness I don't think, "Damn, he's good because he has the most kickass guitar to be found throughout the land, forged from a meteor". Instead I think, "Damn, he rocks my socks because he must of practiced all the time and he's talented."
