Ok guys well i have quite the problem this will be a big writeup so please bare with me.

Ok first of all I did a rb20det into my 95 S14.Now I'm not real experienced with working on cars so i had my buddy who had done his rb20 swap in his 91 s13 agree to help me along with 3 other guys.My buddy was pretty adiment about doing all the wiring himself as I'm sure everyone knows this is the most complicated and important part and more than one person can get it pretty screwed up.

Anywayz somehow it ended up 2 people were doing the wiring, now I pretty much the whole time was concentrating on feeding everyone and doing some research for them as needed at the time. Before I knew it the car was fired up for the first time. This being said I was not watching everything that was going on and don't know what exactly has been wired where and who was responsible and how 2 people ended up wiring.

So this is my problem, first off for the longest time we had the green relays close to the rb ecu hard wired while I waited for relays from nissan. So with the relays hard wired the car started fine...however the fuel pump when key was turned to the ON position would continuesly run instead of priming and then turning off.Now when we plugged the relays in the fuel pump would come on but there was 0V going to the coils so the car would not start.I know one relay is for the ECCS system and one for coils. Now when we used the test light being grounded, when we touched the wires the green relays would click and we would have power at the coils. Now my buddy was gone away so I couldn't call him but the other guy who helped with the wiring came to the conclusion that there was a wire wrong somewhere's but judging on how it reacted to the test light he came up with the idea that if he wired in 2 more relays he could correct the problem without spending a whloe day wiring. Now I didn't know any better he seemed to know what he's doing. So after he did that the car started fine but the fuel pump woud still stay on with the key in the ON position, and when I was driving the blue fuel pump relay on the drivers side was clicking to no end and it was loud.

So today I'm pulling out of my driveway and the car dies,i try to start it a few times and nothing,so I turn the key to ON and no fuel pump, the relays aren't clicking at all.

Does anyone have any ideas i would really like some help cause it's almost winter here and I'd like to drive my car lol

I couldn't find the step by step rb20 to s14 swap on here but that might help me a lil too....I need to trace alot of wires.

Thanks AgainKendal

Re-do whatever wiring has to do with the fuel pump, and you shoudl be good to go. Ive never done an S14 swap so I dunno what all that entails, but more write ups are located here:

sounds like you shorted out on the fuel pump relays. they might have even blown.

Hey man, I'm about to do the same swap, so if you have time, could you throw me a write-up on what you had to do, parts you HAD to have and/or change, and any little tips to look out for. No one else will give me straight answers on this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, man.

Hey ,

check the ECU, the bolt that tightens the harness (big blue plug) to the ECU, see if it is tight to the full, i half assed it and, i had the same problem with the pump relay. if its this ,then you should be alright......
