ok so as the topic says im swapping a rb20 into my 91 hatch. ive read tons of posts and different stuff but. its all over the place and hard to get a solid answer.

im going to use the mckinny mounts found here [ http://www.mckinneymotorsports...d-165 ] the basic mount kit. ( the black ones ) so with these i could use my s13 xmember or should i use the r32 xmember?

also is it easyer to get my harnesses spliced ?if i go that way do i have to deal with the speedo and the different electrical problems?

help would be much appreciated.

also if i use the mckinny mounts will the s13 driveshaft bolt up to the rb20 transmission? if i want to get an aluminum driveshaft i would just have to get a shaft for the s13 chassis correct?

also if i get an aluminum radiator do i have to get it for the r32 ( it doesnt say rb20 engine ) and fabricate mounts for it to fit on my s13?

okay searching will do wonders on here trust me i learnd everything i know from searching pretty much. okay if your going to use a mount kit you can stick with the stock xmember. if your going to get an alluminum drive shaft measure first. its depends on your rear end and how the motor sits. i have an alluminum drive shaft in my 240sx with rb20 and i have a j30 VLSD and i got custom mounts, i got the motor in tried to put the driveshaft in and it was too long. so i got it shorted at a local driveshaft shop for $110. not too bad but i spent $185 on it in the begining. so $285 for that all together and im sure its not worth it. and now i have a koyo radiator and youll want to get it for a KA in s13. the inlet and outlet are on the same side as the r32's. just use a ka one. for hoses i got silicone from ebay and the fit perfect (they just came in today haha) just had to trim the upper one a little because the bigger radiator. for wireing send it to carl H. he knows what hes doing. hes really good at what he does and everything will work and he has fair prices. let me know if you have any more questions about it ill help the best i can. ill be starting my rb20 in a week or two. 5 months in the build lol.
