ok.. so my hub is stripped and my wheel is stuck half way on..

i just put my rims on today.. before i put my front passenger side rim on i replaced two wheel studs.. i tapped them through the hub (like i've done plently of times before).. put the wheel on and started driving.. a few minuets later i started to hear a thud from the tire that kept getting louder and louder.. i parked and looked at my rim to see that i was missing all but one lug nut and 3 of my wheel studs had fallen almost completly behind my rotor.. so i was able to reach under there take off my calliper and try tapping each one through... the problem is my hub is stripped out and when i tried tightening my lugnuts the entire stud turns with it.. so no im left with a tire that is stuck half way on becuse i cant take the lugnuts off or tighten them beause the studs just turn... so if anyone has any advice or knows where i can get another hub asap i'd be extremely greatful..

you might be able to tack weld each stud in so it doesn't turn.

if you can't get it driveable, you could take everything from the spindle out as a piece by disconnecting the shock, tie rod and lower ball joint.

ya i was thinking about welding but i dont know want to do that if i dont have to.. i found another 240 im gonna try and get a spindle off it i just hope it's a 4 lug or else im screwed.. anywayz.. thanks for the advice

Yup, the safest thing to do is just get some used hubs from another 240.

Or, this is the perfect time to use it as an excuse to do the 5lug swap, hehe.

i'd love to do a 5 stud conversion..only problem.. i just got rims that wont work with a 5 lug so im kinda screwed if i cant find a 4 lug hub..
