ok, so its not the coil or the ignitor????

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

my rb20 is not firing #5, i changed the coil and ignitor? the values with the ignition on is 0.1v on all pins before the ignitor? what else could it be? please help

I had a bad coil pack harness. The wires were old and brittle after being exposed to years of heat. I got a new harness and everything ran sooooo much better.

ok. Disconnect the battery. unplug the ecu. Now shoot from the ecu plug to the igniter plug. for ohms with a multimeter. If it is a good wire you should see between 1.0ohms or lower depending on what ground your using. Follow your ecu pin out and get back to us! shoot all 6 of them. Need more help let us know!
