ter...

I can not find these 2 wires to splice together...

I even plugged by auto shifter back in, shorted the connector under the dash that went to the second plug on the brake pedal, and it clicks...

However, when I direct wire the starter the engine turns over :-)

This is from S13, auto to manual... Josh

This I do not understand:All you need to do to make it work electrically is connect the Inhibitor switch wires (gone with the auto transmission) to the clutch pedal sensor. If you don’t think you need the clutch pedal sensor wired up (this sensor is only a safety feature so you don’t accidentally start your car in gear and brake the transmission) you can skip this step. Locate a plug near the fuse box with a black/yellow wire and a black/white wire. Take the ends of those wires (the ends that would be going to the automatic transmission if it were still hooked up) and run those to the clutch pedal and splice them in. If you don’t want the clutch safety switch, just connect those 2 wires together.

are you bumping the starter off the battery? if so have another person there with you to turn the key as you are bumping the starter. i couldnt for the life of me get my car started the other night (first time starting her with my rb) until my friend told me that i needed to turn the key as im hitting the starter with power. so i had my friend turn the key like he was gonna start it and i sent power to the starter and she finally turned over

in the engine bay under the fuse box there will be a connector with black/yellow and white wires they are both a rather thick gauge.jumper that using a jumper made from the auto trans's old lower harness and it should run.

Ok, so I followed that black and yellow wire to the plug on the lower ka harness...

IF I jump the white (power) wire to the black/yellow wire at the point of connection it CRANKS!!! (keep in mind I dont have fuel running to it yet, so this is fine...)

BUT, when I plug them in, it will not crank..

So, if I make a jumper on the lower harness, it wont get power, if I make a jumper on the harness at the fusebox it wont get power...

So, I am confused.. lol

OK THE ONE YOU NEED TO JUMP!!!!It is held on under the fusebox in the engine bay with a piece of metal, use the black/yellow and brown wire connector and join the two wires together, then just plug that connector into the plug under the fusebox which ends up being black/yellow and black/white

IT WORKS!!!!
