So i switched to these...which are much more expensive, but the fine gentleman at Wheelmax made them the same price as the other ones:



Good tradeoff?

I actually liked the first ones better. The second ones are very exotic looking, but they need to be bigger in my opinion. I think the first ones would have looked better against the silver car.

But those should look pretty good too!

On a similar note, jfanaselle... I saw a Civic driving around today on Motegi MR7's, but they were the full chromed version. I liked how they looked mounted, except I loathe chrome. Yours were silver or gunmetal, right?

It really a personal decision. I think that the ones that you finally got are flashier and more stylized; while the first were flashy, but more refined looking. Heads or Tails!

Yeah mine are Silver EV. I might paint them gunmetal though... I'm still trying to decide. I think the darker color will be better on the black car, but maybe I'll ask bulld0g to chop them in both colors. I tried to find a good pic of them already on a car on google, but they're all a bad angle or low resolution so I might have to give him the stock pic.

I've always felt the same way, though - the MR7s look terrible in chrome. They just don't look like they should be a chrome wheel. To me, a chrome wheel should have a ton of surface area.
