1. which subframe will allow an rb20det in a s13 chasis?2. is a custom driveshaft needed, or is that only for the rb25?3. is rb20/rb25 wiring the same?I read the post on 'lets clear up this Rb mount thing' but was only more confused. just trying to avoid having to buy a mount kit to keep the cost down. thanks

1. do you mean x-member? stock one will work with adaptors and R32 one will work with a little hood trim2. nope3. nope

That post really doesn't help that much. First things first... develop a budget that you are willing to work with, and then take it from there. Using the mounting kits allow for a slightly cleaner install than using the R32 member, but it does cost a little more money (Night seems to have a quality setup/price going). Always remember you are going to be buying fluids, so don't forget to budget for those items (and other misc.) as well.

Do some searching for "RB20DET" "RB20DET wiring" etc... I think only a couple of pages back there were some wiring writeups for you. Hope this helps, and good luck to you.

1: R32/R33/R34 RWD will work. The bonnet frame will need a trim.2: Depending on you box arrangement and orginal config of auto or manual. Deff needed for a RB25 box3: 32/33 wiring is vastly different.
