I ordered a MD 5/16 spacer... That should be a simple install... I have the write up to follow.

I ordered DC Headers and some ebay test pipes...

My G hasn't been sent to the dealer as the new motor and trans are not in yet... Apparently they are on back order or something lol.

Should I wait and do the install of the Headers and test pipes myself or should I ask the dealer to install them since the motor is going to be out!

How much of a PITA is it to install the headers?

If i do do them myself should I Attach the test pipes to the headers and do it all at once or do the headers and then the test pipes?

Thanks Guys

DJ

Headers aren't fun. Its like pulling teeth. off a hungry and angry lion. Install them first, the cats are a simple bolt in.

I can't justify the gains with the cost on that one Joe.

Do you think the dealer will install this for me at a small cost when they put the new motor in?

The dealer shouldn't charge much to install the headers while the engine is out of the car. It will make it about 4023412341324 times easier.

I can tell you that its a serious PITA.

Oh, and for the rev-up you should def. get the MREV2.

Well I was beat until you count that I am going to have a exhaust shop do from the Y pipe back custom exhaust. I am only going to have it resignated so that it will be a deep tuned sound with no mufflers.

I am going to finally have the first 03-06 sedan with dual pipes (one on left and one on right!)

Oh yeah, well I suck so bad I earned 7 K last month and have ZERO new mods to show for it.... times are tough here in the maritimes.

I wish I had some more play money, GF is getting pretty tight on my wallet since bought new home

But Damn boys, those mods will give you crazy boost in hp... Good luck!

Yea I was thinking probably about 35-40hp gain and more than that in TQ

5ish-spacer... or was that 10 hp gain... I know some one had a dyno done

10ish for headers

10ish for test pipes

At least 10-15hp for the flywheel!

And maybe a few more when I finish the rest of the exhaust.

And my intake gives about 7ish..

SO if I started with 298.... 345ish.... maybe 330 lol
