ok.....so do we have SAT radio built in the car or do i have to buy the module?

.....i'm confused and i can't really get a straight answer from the dealer; when i press the "source" button on the steering wheel, i see the words "SAT" on the screen but i don't see or hear any satellite radio. can someone smack some sense into me?

when you hit the source button and you see the SAT on the screen you should see Station 1 at least. What exactly do you see?

Do you have an antenna on your roof?

If you have the Journey package on your 2006, then you should have it. The base M's didn't come with SAT radio that year. Even if you don't have a subscription you should at least get a few channels, channel 1 being one of them. I have seen a few posts here though about having to have the SAT module re-set by a tech sometimes in order to get it to work though.

oh wow, i forgot that i left this thread unfinished. well i got the SAT working now so everything is cool. thanx you guys for helping out. : )
