...we picked up another droptop this past weekend.

I'm hoping I can get my oldest son interested in working on it / modding it.

It's a 92, red, bad motor, 5-speed swap already done. Needs a new top and interior, dash, paint, and doors (I'm just gonna swap in coupe doors)...

Comes with a low-mileage S14 KA on the stand, so I have my work cut out for me.

No pics yet (it's ugly, lol), but I'll shoot some.

Nice!

It would be pretty awesome if you and your son could build it together. That's what I call some quality time.

I can't wait until my son is old enough to spend some garage time with me.

Keep us updated on the build.

Lol who cares if it's ugly? A vert is a vert! Yes please shoot some pics...and snap a few of the Droptop from Hell just for the heck of it.

With that being said...

And be sure to keep us updated.

sounds fun.

i sure wish my father would have worked on cars with me...

i know my kids will be with me in the garage and loving it. i had my nephew down in the basement with me pulling ca18 parts a few weeks back. he's 4 years old. i had him up way past his bedtime and ever since that night he's been "fixing" everything with his plastic tools.

you know we need pictures. i don't know why people bother posting without pictures in this forum... the second post on every other thread here in the vert forum says "need pics".

OK, I'll shoot it this weekend.

I'm seriously considering doing a low-budget SBC swap in this one... Hopefully my son will be as excited about working on it as I am.

you mean when you swap doors? You don't have the pillar. The pillar is attached to the door.

Or did you mean when you do coupe door panel swaps? Then you cit that sucker off - check my project thread!
