Ok all of the articles I have found are telling me to drop the old diff out and put the new LSD in?? Ok working as a mechanic I know better, nothing is ever really that easy. So if anybody can inform me or direct me to where I can get some info that would be great.

its a 89 240sx non abs and I am installing a NISMO 1.5

the kit came with the diff, side bearings, a couple of flanges, oil and gasket. Hmmmm I have no idea what the flanges are for so please help a lost soul out.

all 240sx diffs are the same, therefore require the same torque specs.

S13 through S15 all had R200 type differentials. therefore all of the torque specs are the same. and that is why you can put a s15 helical in a s13 or s14, and why you can put a s14 vlsd in a s13 by only changing the rear diff cover unless your swaping the actual lsd unit and not the whole pumpkin. the only thing that really changed anything is if one has abs. but that wont change torque specs.

what about the S12, they have r200 diffs, well at least the turbo and v6 models. then the rest have r180's. so correction S12-S15 have r200 diffs. jason i thought u knew the S14's have multilink rears, i mean u had ruca's on your zenki. if it were solid axle then we wouldnt have to worry about the camber issues when droppin it. solid axle s14 would be kinda sick though

http://www.stillen.com, they had it last time i checked. calling might be more helpful, i dont think they have it on the site. yeah i still miss that zenki too, that ish was hot. but my auto s14 still beat it, on springs and stock struts .lol. got any pics of it before the kitty meows. possibly with the adr's on it with the drop+spacers u had?
