ok i got a ka24de with a warped head in my garage, im about to buy a 240 for $400 with a spun rod, if i put the bottom end off the motor in the garage in that car whats the chances of it being problem free?

for 400 dollars you can have a head redone

but i roll an 89 chassis so that would cost more to do a dul cam swap and im gettin for my gf. $400 for a 93 fast back isnt bad and this kid doesnt know anything about nissans so i dont even know if it is warped lol.but its should work right? its worth a try imo

so i just the car home and its dark already so in the am im gonna go through every inch of it to see if theres anything i missed. if i pull the motor out i might as well do the rings on the other block,bearings and the oil pump right? what about the timing chain, oh and the head gasket to

how do you spin a rod ? Warped head, spun bearing.... Get a good used motor and rebuild that

lol naw the kid said it spun a rod bearing and said the other motor has a warped head,outta the two motors i can put the bottom end off the "warped head" motor and use the head off the "spun rod bearing" motor. it wont crank right now and when i got it there was no oil, not even a little bit in there so what ever this kid did he sure didnt do nothin right
