well...i sold my scirocco today. :ylsuper
so now i've got around 2k to play with, and i'm trying to decide where to order a clip from. i think i've decided to go with a clip over a motorset because i think it has a smaller chance of me being stuck with a non running car due to a missing part. I've been talking to venus as they're someone i haven't heard real bad things about (IE clips not shipping for months after payment) they quoted me 1500 plus 600 shipping to my parents house in Sun Prairie, WI. Is there any place else i should contact that may be closer and have the clips, but also would be reputable. i'm ready to do this **** NOW and i don't want to wait 6 months to get my clip after i pay for it.
All you ohio guys, where'd you get your clips?
venus also said that they're clips come with intact downpipes. this is something that i thought got damaged when they cut the clip...am i wrong? or should i still assume that a clip i get won't come with one unless they tell me otherwise?
ok, now i have money. time to decide...

i know they have motorsets, but i'm not sure if they have clips or not.
but i guess...i shouldn't assume they DON'T until i find out for sure, eh?

I JUST got my CA clip from them last week and I was pretty happy. I had a few things wrong but I should be getting the parts this week. Mine does have a fully intact downpipe, so they are telling the truth on that. I also know that they only had 2 in stock and I've bought one, so they only have one left now. If you're going to get one from them, I'd hurry. As for not waiting, it couldn't have been much better. They got the money on a friday and I got the clip the following thursday. I would reccomend them for sure.
