I just can't stop changing all the things that have bothered me about my truck. I do like the look of the HB with the bumper but I have always wanted to delete my bumper and go with a rollpan. I decided to go with the factory roll pan because Nissan already provides all the mounting hole on the truck. It's plug and play as long as you get all the parts needed.

First part is the rollpan itself. Second is the plate bracket which bolts to the rollpan from the behind, this is the plate holder, no way to mount the plate w/o it. Third is the plate light assembly. All three parts form Nissans rear bumper delete kit. Well long story short I traded my rear bumper to a friend for a brand new charcoal canister vent valve for my 96. I still owe the guy the bumper which inspired me this weekend.

I painted the roll pan with Rustoleum satin black. In these pics it's not completely mounted, that's tomorrow after a trip to Lowes for stainless hardware. I think it looks awesome! I can't wait till the truck is lowered with low pro 16's on. It's considerably lighter now that it doesn't have a heavy bumper on the rear. By next summer this truck is going to be a handler. Of course I have to work at the speed that the money trickles in. I'm patient and plan on keeping the truck a while so I am in no hurry, I just have very vivid dreams at night. Here's some pics of the roll pan...inspired by Hessianbens truck.

Nice man, looks great. How much did that run you? I was looking at one somewhere else for 140$ plus shipping but I would rather have nissan if its not too pricey.

My 97 came with a roll pan in front of the stock rear bumper, it even has the plastic license plate tabs in it. I was thinking that all hardbodys came like that.

Did your truck come with a chrome grille and chrome mirrors? If not you might have a base model that had a bumper added on by the dealer or something to that effect. There are base 4x4s out there between 95 and 97 that even lacked a tach. Mine had nothing behind it, just a clear and ugly view of the frame.

The panel cost me about 60bux. The plate hold panel about 25bux and the plate light assembly about 15bux. Top it off with a red 194 LED bulb and I am into it for $100 give or take a few.

Finished! Well, sort of...I still need to buy the rubber bumper blocks to finish the look. The bumper alone shaved off 50lbs. Here's pics!

I was going to ask how you will tow anything now but I see by the rusty ball on the bumper towing is not big with you Rev LOL 50lb is enough to make some difference, looks cool with the roll pan.

I am going to static drop it the right way...drop spindles and blocks. That's all being drawn up for next spring. Money is the driving factor.

Got this installed the other day as well. I picked it up from Redimports in Rochester NY during the All Japanese Car Show last month. Ignore my ugly Interstate blem.

Hey Rev, did you paint that inset area on your tailgate or was that factory? If you did it, its a damn nice touch that I think I am going to duplicate.

I painted it last year. I used to have the SE trim panel but it looked cobbed so I went ahead and painted it up.
