im buying a 93sentra with a sr20det i was just wonndering how would i be abele 2 tell its a sr20det becouse i saw the turbo but not sure if he just added a turbo 2 the stock motor can some 1 help me out plz???thank you

Visual inspection from someone who knows what to look for is easy. For one, there will not any signs of EGR, which means one would have to use block off plates on the intake manifold. The motor will be highport, which means injectors will be visible and not underneath the intake manifold. There is a number on the block by the transmission, see if you can read it.

A DE+T isn't a bad thing, but if he's selling it as a DET and it's a DE+T then something could be shady.
