Well after much struggle with one of the steering knuckles, the suspension is in, minus one ABS sensor which did not want to leave the old suspension...so now I have to get a new one :-[ Anyway, these are somewhat dark, I'll take more pics in a little bit.

Hawaii plates?

Beautiful car. Write a review of the new set-up after you have a chance to wring it out.

Overall the car has very minimal bodyroll (suspension is set on 5-->the stiffest level). It goes over speed bumps without any rebound from the shocks. This also translates into a much harsher ride. It no longer glides on teh road, but it's not so stiff that I feel every single rock on the road. It stays in contact with the pavement no matter what roads i take. The cornering has improved, I have not tried any freeway onramps yet, but will definately push the car further once I get the missing sensor.

This JIC suspension does not make the car feel like it's on rails, its smooth, and the spring rates are right on the money, same goes with shock adjustment level. It is softer than my friends Tein HA setup for sure.

I'd give this suspension 4 stars out of 5. Mainly because I can't go any lower with this suspension and still expect a comfortable ride. Any lower and it will hit the bump stops.

Great looking Y33!

Pardon my ignorance, but I need to ask "what are JICs?"

It sounds like an adjustable suspension set-up....

JIC is the brand name of the suspension that I am now using on the car. You can visit jic-magic.com for more information. Basically it's height adjustable as well as the stiffness.

Update:I have turned down the stifness to 4 and the ride is so much smoother. I might turn it down to 3 to see what it feels like.

Nice pics, car looks sweet. You gonna get different wheels or put spacers on those? You have the ride height about the same as what mine with Tein S-tech's is at, at least it looks the same in the pics to me.

Very nice looking!!!! I've always preferred the 99 thru 01 look over the 97/98. I just think the rear lights look a lot tidier.

My favorite one is the 4th one down from the daytime pics. My least favorite is the first from the night time ones and the last from the day time ones. I guess it's because the fender and the wheel/tire thing don't line up as flush. Probably what falk is talking about.

I will be getting some dish wheels for it this summer. I might raise the car a bit because I get a clunking noise every time i go through a small pothole.

I have 1 finger gap between the tire and the fender.
