Ok, so this is what I'm thinking. S14 compressor and CHRA, with the turbine blade and housing from a GTiR.

Worth the work or not?

I've got a shop I take them too. Anything that spins at 100K rpm needs balanced....

get a pulsar t28 and attach the s14 comp housing straight to it, it bolts straight together and should make good power (330bhp at the fly is quoted for the same thing in the UK )

the problem with the GTiR turbo is that it's a normal bushing and not a ball bearing, which will reduce my transient response, which I need to improve for autoX. Even my SR T25 seems slow in between shifts and throttle offs.

they are so similar it would be a waste of time. The S14 turbine on my ex's car has little trouble planting me in the seat. I don't get this whole pulsar vs S14 turbo thing. I have had both of them in my hand and they look identical and claim the same HP potential.

Does anybody know if the mazdaspeed protege turbo is any better than the sr20? It's ball bearing but not sure on the powerband.

compare dyno charts of the two engines, that would indicate a little.

Human females usually eat the males before sex. Float, send me an e-mail, I may have something you would be interested in.

Both !!

Why not just go a VL Commodore or Cosworth T3 turbo ? a lot of guys over here use them, they are plain bush but they really do spool up quickly.
