Just to give everyone a little background, I live near Atlanta, which is near Alpharetta. Alpharetta is one of the richest cities in the entire country (avg. per capita income over $200,000 per two income household), so I get hired by people with a ton of cash who love their cars as much as I love mine, and I do what I do.

I never said I was amazing, I just have been able to sell these pictures and I really enjoy doing new things with photography, so I wanted to make these new and interesting, but if anyone wants me to do anything like this, let's just say I'll "comp" it for you.

I'm going to jump out into a couple local contests for money and then see where I can go from there. This stuff is with NO training whatsoever.

2 things man,

1. That is an UGLY color grey.2. The red on the grey looks even worse.

Look at two things in my gallery:

1. The intensity that the car has, even in black and white2. The amount of different textures... yes, even BLUR is a texture.

Because Clipsed, in his infinite wisdom @ 17 years old, thinks that he knows all. No offense Clipsed, but that's how you think. And someone needs to tell you that you simply don't know it all. Drop the "I'm better than everyone" attitude, please.

Plus, NY.AD.MAN's artwork is of much higher quality than the examples of your PS "mastery" that you posted here. I can see the grainy edge around the Versa...the gray is so drab that it sucks the life out of the photo. I could go on and on, but from what I saw from NY's album, he's the one with real talent. Do you really look at the pictures you posted and NOT see the flaws?

Some day you've got to learn that you've still got a lot to learn. You should also probably take the time to understand that you can't be the MASTER at everything - and that's perfectly fine. Just remember, no one likes a know-it-all.

Well said Rockhound. And also GJ on the pictures NY. I have never bothered with PS because all the buttons and everything plus I'm not a very artistic person so I stay away from that kinda stuff. As for networking and computer troubleshooting stuff I have been doing for about a good 15 years now and I still only know like 3% of the information that is out there. LOL there is just too much I need like 3 life times or no life at the rate I'm going.

honestly I don't care, I took 10 minutes on those, not something I worked on to get looking OMG good. And no I don't throw go crazy when I post something, just on the HIDs because it is unbelievable how uneducated people are, and how easily they are persuaded by the ricer crowd.

The real proof of your photoshopping skills can be proven if you show me some PS smoke. My buddy is excellent at PSing, he has about 8 years of experience, and is capable of doing things you couldn't even imagine. PS involves using more than just the filters, effects, and coloring tools. Anyway, those pictures look nice, you have a good eye. I'd just look for a bit more contrast if you want to take shots in B&W. I'm a bit of a amatuer photographer, but I use a film camera, and I don't scan my photos, so I can't show you anything. Maybe I'll buy myself an EOS one of these days...

I wasn't intending to insult him, although on the internet things can be deceived differently since there is no tone. If you would have read his last thread BEFORE he edited it, and this thread BEFORE he edited it, I think you would understand me a lil more. He edited his first post in this thread about 8 times, no bs, he edited the 2nd post twice, and his 3rd post twice, and you guys never had a chance to read the original posts. But you really have to read the other thread and ALLLLL of the ORIGINAL posts to really understand where I was coming from and my POV.

anywho his Original post in that thread stated that he had pics for sale of PSed cars, BUT the only way anyone could see them is if they paid him, because they are copyrighted and he didn't want anyone stealing his work. dont know about TX, but yellow is illegal in California. Dont like how you just threw those in the stock lamps with no cut offs, and not in projectors as they should be. I hate people like that. If you wanted to put HIDs you should have done it properly and retrofitted your headlamps. Now you will be driving around blinding everyone. I plan on doing my $750+ retro hopefully before summer ends. Anywho your car, do as you want, but I sure wouldnt want to be you in a court room where you ended up getting someone injured for an improper install!

All the hostility is caused mainly by one member, who is the main reason why many here no longer participate on a regular or daily basis. It is long overdue that this member status be reconsidered for the good of the forum !

Obviously more members have to voice their opinion on this, not just three or four !

Forums are suppose to be educational, fun as well as a good communication and exchange medium, that's why sponsors pay good money to support them to start with, I don't believe sponsors can be very happy if they find out their customers or potential customers are being insulted, disrespected, alianated on the sites they support.

Yesterday I typed up a very long tyrade about how much clipse pisses me off. I figured it was way too harsh since he's a young child and deleted it. Basically, I bought my car because of this forum. I new it had no aftermarket but figured it would in the future. Instead, everytime anyone tries to come up with an idea for a mod, good or bad, they get flamed by clipse. He woulda been banned even from a Civic forum by now for his actions. If I were to say to clipse that his $750 lights looked stupid and it was idiotic to spend that much money on a car that's worth $500 bucks, he would get all bent out of shape and call me a ricer. I, (and apparently several other members) don't care if you have Porsche headlights on your car. We don't care if in your 17 years of wisdom that you read somewhere that Sony sucks. We don't care if you don't like soandso's decals/sub box/cap/tint/whatever, and definately don't care about your ability with photoshop. Sorry EV, but everyday I decide I'm not coming back to this forum because of this little punk, and everyday I come back because I have no choice (rather Wal Martish as it's the only game in town). Look, photography is ART. Art can't be judged as good or bad. It is an opinion. I may think that something is beautiful, and someone else may think it's terrible.

However, attitude can be judged. It amazes me how the people here in the Versa forum are as antagonistic and rude to each other as the fanboi's in the 240 forums.
