Chet/Grant... I'm now an advertiser :)

Ok, I need to get some directions here from you guys.

As a few of your may know I've been in the works of starting my own gig as a Nissan specialty shop. Well now's the final week of waiting. We have a 4,000 sq. ft. location sitting with our name on it and tomorrow we are moving in for good.

So, without further rambling, I need to get some feedback:

Product Lines:

- What sort of name's you guys looking for? Tein, Eibach, JIC, etc? - Any companies we should carry? (Wheels, Suspension, and Brake specific please) - Group Buys?

What would you pay for this setup:- Rebuilt Z32 Aluminum 30mm Calipers- 297x30mm Brembo Z32 Rotors (Crossdrilling and Slotting at your request, 4-lug redrill at your request)- Stainless Brake Lines (our own brand, with the correct fittings, set of 4 (2 front/2 rear))- Project Mu B-Force Pads- 2 Bottles of Dot 5 fluid

We will have our own line of parts that will slowly be building it'self up as well.

Feel free to email me any feedback or post it up: [email protected]

I'd totally drive over to Austin and throw down $600-$700 for that brake setup easy. As far as brands, I like to see stuff that others don't. I'm tired of seeing Tein Flex and HEs and then JIC-FLTA2. I bet you could get a lot of business from different setups, but as far as brands, I'm not really sure. One of the biggest considerations for me is that there are at least 6 other S13 owners in my town that have seriously taken to modding their cars and several S14 owners, and I want to be different. Group buys rock, and also mabye a NICO member discount for those of us that live close enough to come to your shop;) Where are you located? I wanna come meet you and check out your facility:)

Well I am looking at Cusco, Tein, Battle Version, URAS, Work for suspension and wheel upgrades etc.

As far as the z32 upgrade kit, I know collectively I can get a similar one, only difference is Axxis Ultimate pads for $675. But thats for front and rear. Front alone would be 375 not including pads.

With pads your looking at about 450, thats for the Axxis Ultimate pads and running the SPL Parts brake lines which don't have the most ideal fitment for the Z32 calipers.

Then shipment from various suppliers ... it adds up quick.

I'm working on lowering the price of my kits to be very worthwhile and in a single phonecall, no hunting parts here and there.

OK wheels:-MAkin Industries, I can get you their contact info(they do volk, rays, and others)-5-Zigen (cheap and nice)-BBS and/or Blitz-Kei Office(if you can get them)

those are the big ones for me, for the lower-budget peeps, you may want to check into black racing and maybe kosei or *sigh* konig(grrrrr)

Suspension:RS*RTEIN(well know, not hideously expensive)TANABE!!!!! (they're making some nice chasis brace stuff and multi link parts now)CuscoApex-I(yeah, you knew I would say that. hell..get apex-i everything.)KYB Battle-Version

....any and all NISMO(bushings, etc) stuff would be nice, and also any tomei stuff(but thats not suspension realted, other than the tomei diffs)

Differentails I like:NISMO gt-pro/SSSTomei technical traxCusco type RZ or MZ, both kick ***.

the brake setup, project mu pads own, make sure you geththe lines made with a teflon /stainless braid, and preferably some sleeves over the outside...but you know that, I dont think the outer sleeving is all too important :p

Sounds like a nice brake setup, I'd pay 600-700 for it, easy, esspecially considering the NISMO big brake upgrade is like 900....and its not even that beefy.

you may want to check out a RS*R or KYBor even apex-i dampers(hehe.) for group buys, that would be bad-***.

It would be nice to have a US distributor for Whiteline. I hate ordering from Canada.

Also, if you can get M2-Hanbai stuff, you'd be my god. They have bad *** wheels made specially for our cars in high demand sizes/offsets (cheap prices). They also make seats and seat rail kits for like 1/10000 the price of Bride (exaggeration, but they are literally 1/4 the price or more). I know people have tried to carry them before, but appartly they are bung holes and don't want to sell to foreign markets. Maybe you can get them to sing a different tune...break their legs or something. :)

Hmmm, what else...Border Racing gauge pods. They are cool as poo too but I can't find them in the US for the life of me.

That's all for now.

I second the Kei Office. Anything Keiichi Tsuchia makes I would buy. I don't know if you want to get into aero tuning, but I love Do Luck, they also have nice bracing stuff as well. WIll you guys be doing tuning as well, or mostly suspension/brake installs? I am looking for somewhere to get magic boxes tuned after I get my SR.

Tuning will happen when we get a dyno and all the other necessary tools to properly do it.

I can get Kei Office, and I plan to have accounts with most of the names you've mentioned.

Stay tuned for a complete list of the names we will carry next week.

Thanks for the info.

you should have other brake upgrades like GTR upgrade basically a Z32 30mm calipers with some custom mounting kit and GTR rotor, VR4 brake upgrade that is a Z32 caliper 30mm with a VR4 rotor and custom mounting plate

the gtr kit should be easy a fabricate, the VR4 is alittle more challenging but it can be done

Sorry, but the VR4 brakes will never happen. Too much labor for a kit that will be overkill, same nearly goes for the GTR upgrades.

I can look into the GTR upgrades, thats pretty simple to make since all it requires is the larger rotors and a relocation bracket.

Of course the GTR brakes would serve no benefit over the Z32 brakes in about 99% of the applications. Which is why they aren't exactly priority.

If you provide a kit with front and back 5-lug swap and z32 brakes with E-brake that would rock.

i would want all of the mentioned brands, but with with a few extra things. maybe you could piece together packages(cusco f/r strut bars and sway bars) with a better price than buying the individual pieces. also, a complete 5 lug swap package, and your complete z32 upgrade package are good ideas. good luck man, hope everything works out.
