just wanting to know if there are any options i have, cuz my work's firewall filters out sites such as youtube, photobucket, myspace, etc. anything i can do without having to download something? (trying to waste time, not get fired)

You don't need to download anything, you just need a proxy browser. There are tons of them out there.

Another way to do it is to use a translator service like google or altavista, and tell the program to translate from some language to english. Since it's already english, it won't change anything, but the requests will be made by the translator service, not by your own computer, so you can get past the filter.

Also, don't blame me or NICO if this stuff gets you into trouble.

Be aware that in some states, using a proxy browser is illegal.

The only proxy server that Wensense has allowed, in my experience, is kproxy. And it's slow and sucks.

Try bored.com and read the fake check story.. that should take up a couple hours!

This is why you use the translator method. Websense isn't going to block Altavista or Google (at least to my knowledge).
