A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

The USDM NX2000 is a different car than the GTiR. Nissan dropped the name "Pulsar" from their NX series of cars after the KN13 ('87-'90). The KN13 and follow-on NX cars were only FWD.

The U.S. NX is the B13 platform with either the GA16DE or optional SR20DE engine, same as the 91-94 Sentra.

The U.S. never saw any N platforms after the N13 (87-90 Pulsar NX). And even those were never AWD.

no there wasn't a awd sentra/nx based in the states. but the cars that we get det's from, like the bluebird is a awd type altima. the gti-r is a snetra framed hatchback that was never introduced into the states, but a few foreign countries.

the gti-r motor is a hard motor to work on. not a plethora of info but they make power if you have the right set up. every gti-r motor has a noisy valve trane and smokes for some odd reason.

The GTi-R is not based on the Sentra frame. It's a completely different chassis. It's the N chassis whereas the Sentra is the B chassis.

they do have their similarities. you can take a entire front clip from a n14 and the pannels with bolt right on to a b13 chassis. they may not be a identical frame but they share alot of similarities

there was a sentra wagon that came in AWD

i have an 87 AWD pulsar NX. but it was converted to AWD with a rear subframe from a sentra wagon and it was partially bolt up. also N14 GTiR tein HA bolted up to all 4 corners without problems witht he hole sin the rear towers opened up for the upper mount.

The Bluebird is the same car (bodystyle-wise) as the Stanza, (my car! :D )
