I need to change my thermostat today on my rb20......where the hell is is the old one....i cant find it...

I think its below the intake manifold on the side of the motor.

if its like the 26, follow the bottom rad hose from the rad to the block. It should be under the alum hose neck that is bolted to the block, like in this pic...see where the rusty color is...? it goes there, under the alum neck thingie that has been removed already...

"....the thermostat, which is located in the end of the bottom hose where it connects to the block. THere are 3 bolts which you can remove to get the thermostat out. Just pull it free (note which side is top - it matters)."

As well as the z32 gasket.I picked up a 170deg z32tt tstat and gasket from oreilly's auto for like 10 bucks.

Well worth it.

go here, http://240sxonline.com and click under RB20 manual. look down the list there are instructions for changing the thermostat.,
