Hi guys and gals, if we have any here,

I have been looking for a while. Q45man1 looked at this one in December when the price was closer to $4,700. 94 Q45a with 132k miles.

I was looking for White with white, but this is such a good example of Silver with dove I couldn't pass it up.

Paint is great (except bumpers) interior looks like it has less than 50k miles on it.

No codes on the active (55), but flat as can be. Warped front rotors. Broken ash tray hing below radio, other wise very, very good.

Picked it up for $3,500. Turn rotors 1st. Then rebuild active. Drive it for a while, while doing the rest of the preventitive/restoration maintainance.

Can someone point me to a list of all the parts (rubber and other wise, plugs, etc.) that I need to address to bring this back to "almost" new condition?

Thanks for the help.

Bruce

Replace all fluids (active, PS, brake, transmission, diff, etc), might look at replacing brake pads after a turn if they are iffy..

Youll want to replace upper links, tension rod bushings, sway bar bushings all around, strut mounts, dust boots and that should pretty much do it..

This is what the service records and the Infiniti dealer performed service history and Infiniti Senior Tech inspection are for.

Wes is on the correct track, but you need to look at everything. If you don't know when an item was last maintained by inspection or records, do it.

cool! a sister ship!suggest you don't drive any more than absolutely necessary on the flat active- it will stress the rest of the system.

I will send you my maintenance history list of every part i've changed with p/n. approaching $7000 in parts only (most at wholesale) over the last 2 years.

Wes, Brian, and Jay. Thanks. I will pick her up tomorrow and drive the 40 miles back home.

Sat. I will pull the rotors and get them turned and by pass the brake pad sensors.

Jay. I have a new Solstice GXP to drive, so I can let her sit until I get the parts from Keith. Even if I do decide to drive to work in the Q, I have a 1.5 mile commute, one way. So not a lot of stress on the system.

I look forward to the list.

Again, thanks guys.

Bruce

Great list, Dan.

I would include sunroof track cleaning and lubridation with the hinges.

Also, I like replacing air, cabin and fuel filters annually if not more often.

Dan,

Thank you. Very helpful.

Maxnix. Is there a cabin air filter on the 94?

Thanks

Bruce,

I just had mine for all fluids and filter changed. Cabin air filter is not available in 94Q. I believe 98+ or 99+Q has the cabin air filter.

Just ordered my Tokico blues from Joe today. I'm also in the waiting list for the tower strut bar from Jeff Williams.

Thanks Percy, that is what I thought I remembered.

Now, to the rest of your comment.

You have two Q's, right? You are not ordering Tokico's for the "a" are you?

I ordered my 9 accumulators from Keith. I hope they get here this week so I can put them in this weekend.

Bruce
