Yes Globe9, you have just blown the fuse. Just don't ask how I know ;-p.
The fuse to replace is, when you sit in the car, at about your left knee level, below the switches. Remove the panel, and on this panel, you will have an explanation on what fuse is what. You should also have a small black plastic tweezers attached close to the fuses, it is there to help you grab the fuse. I cannot remember if Nissan put some extra fuses, but you can go to your closest auto store and buy a box of fuses for cars, they are cheap (you need the mini fuses).
As for your LEDs lights, the one you got are ONLY for the Dome and the Cargo light. Don't try them on the map light or you will short the connection,... and blow the fuse.
You need #194 bulbs for the map lights, V-LED should have some for you.

Cannot you have some help from one of your friend who is more mechanically inclined than you? No shame on that part, everybody has his strength and weakness.
When I don't know something, I like to learn by watching my friend in the know doing it at least once with me. That is how surgeons learn, you know.
