I have a Frontier with Ka24de. Room to spare in the engine space. My goal is to stay within $1000 mark to get my truck with turbo. I want good stuff that dont need to be upgraded later for my 143Hp to get to 240 range. Later i will do the ecu, fuel, ect.

So what combo would you guys put in this truck to get a good meaty kit going? Also i dont know all the parts i need just to get turbo, I take it some are just addons but some you need. What do i need.

no way...1000$..impossible...you can barley afford a POS junkyard kit with a budget of 1000$. please consider at least 2000

with 1000$ you could get a nice turbo and manifold but not the whole set up, unless you have some really mad hook ups or stolen parts . If you want really good power , yea what (cravingboost) said you need atleast 2000$ for a decent set up that will make around 250 and up hp

pushing it, maybe... but im personally going gangster cheap... like im getting a z32 t25, and a SSAC mani... together will cost me ~$325 shipped... then all i need is a IC oil lines SR injectors, walboro pump, megabikirom... about $1400 give or take $200... its doable for $1000 but dont expect GOOD power or reliability... meet honda owners they know how to do things cheap

But what you don't understand. That $1400 becomes $2500 REAL fast.

YES...exactly...i started off wanting a 2g turbo kit and ended up with almost 3000 and more to come. you start changing your mind as time goes by and also start to see that you want to invest into more expensive things so that you dont limit your potentiol.

you'll realize soon enough that there will be no limit of how much you spend and you'll want to go back and do it all over again

Can you do any of the fabrication yourself? If not who's building it for you?
