So i know its been done but I am wanting to get the injen intake for my A/C 2.5s CVT and a nice exhaust that wont make the 4 banger sound like a honda(i hate that sound) How much Hp increase would that make. My goal is to put it over 200 i know that maY be a streach but its possible. Any suggestions? Also are there any tutorials for the injen install on a 2.5... and where is the cheapest place to pick one up? also the stillen exhaust, wow its expensive, any cheaper routes?

The answer is simply, NO. You will not get up to 200 HP with the installation of an intake and exhaust, no matter what manufacturer claims may be. Maybe if/when headers become available, you'll have a much better chance at cracking that 200 mark.

Stillen would probably be your best bet for the INJEN. You missed out on the group buy, but give them (Kyle or Josh) a call and see what they can do for you.

A cheaper exhaust would be a custom one. You could go to your local muffler shop and have them rig a cat-back with higher flowing mufflers for you. But, remember, exhausts like the Stillen and Nismo have mandrel bent piping, which makes a difference in exhaust flow. If you go to a shop and have them make one, they just bend the pipes with heat, unless they have a mandrel bender, which is highly unlikely. Good luck on your quest for 200!

I don't see how it could fit...........I could be mistaken. The 3.5, and 2.5 are different engine designs, the VQ and also the QR. But like I said I could be wrong.

Until there is some type of tune available for these cars big power increases are a dream or a bad idea.. You could throw a 50 shot of nitrous at it and pray.lol

The 3.5 and 2.5 do not share the same intakes, they have different part numbers.

Can not be done without forced induction sorry, the 3.5 only puts out about 225-235 at the wheels, anybody who tells you different is lying.

200 crankshaft horsepower will definitly require a free flowing intake, a full performance exhaust system, and most likely a set of more aggressively timed cam's or a well tuned ECU program

I also dont suggest the injen, its more money for basically the same thing with a scrap piece of metal they call a heatshield, and with the design of the engine bay, it doesnt make a big difference. Also the injen, IMO is poorly designed because the place where the MAF sensor is, somtimes rubs against the hood. As opposed to the fujita intake, which is the same product, with better design and no useless heatshield, AND no rubbing MAF sensor, AND about 100 bucks cheaper. there is a guy on nissanclub.com that does a comparison between the twohttp://www.nissanclub.com/foru....html

The MAF doesn't rub anymore. It was redesigned and it's more angled now. I have no rubbing issues on my 2.5
