so my dad went to i think fontana races this last weekend in cali.... his buddy was running a 71 ranchero like 650hp but anyway he is biased towards older simpler vehicles.

so he isnt to happy i bought my car and comes back saying, "hey there were nissan 350z's there running high 15s." i was like no way

the stock 1/4 is like a high 13 or low 14 and he said these were modded.

unless the drivers didnt have a clue how to drive i dont see that.

any comments towards this rubble?

With all respect to your father 2 things could have happened:

1 He smokes left handed cigarettes when he is away from home or

2 He needs glasses

Dont believe even richie would run high 15's

Should be in the 14's stock. With some mods in the 13's.

I probably pick on you because you are the same person that said they were grown up and have real world problems. But the thing is I knew better and now you are admitting you are a kid and also that mom will wipe debt off for you. Now I am just picking and mean absolutely no harm but dont get into a forum the way you did and try to actt like you are alll that. That is the point I am trying to make. Now that you will have a car, post questions we can benefit from, you know things you will actually do to your car. So know that you got it, learn on the forum, you know the way you dont in school.

maybe those Zs running 15s had their TCS on? Everytime they powershifted the the engine would hold back...that's my guess

that has to be driver error. Maybe he was sitting on the tree. you know 1.2 reaction time

That's funny you went through a pretty lengthy discussion about how you were gonna get that taken away because of your sister owing mom money, Christmas and birthday money. Did you not give a big explanation on that or not. I thought so. Look richie your spoiled and you have some of the worst grammar I have seen with any human being . It doesn't make you dumb just hard to take you serious. That's why people in the forum are not taking you serious. Enjoy your car but don't be a smarta$$ about.

When I was at the track one time there was a 15 second 350z. It was modified to single exhaust and sounded like poop. Very sad.

Obviously didn't have enough stickers then if he ran a 15.

And i was looking up single exit exhaust vids on youtube lately, majority of them sound like arse.

You can sit at the tree for 10 seconds, and as long as your car doesn't move, your reaction time will go up to 10.0, but if you run the 1/4 mile in 14 flat, you will still have a 14 flat 1/4 mile.

Your reaction time is counted from when the green light comes on, until your tire moves away from the staging beam.

The 1/4 mile time (E/T) is counted from the time that your tire moves from the staging beam, until it crosses the beam that goes across the finish line.
