Looks OK. Do it with the original colors and get rid of the blue tint. Also the license plate holder and center cut out arnt lined up with the grill. You need to shift them over to the left a little bit. But its a good start.

Sounds like a Photoshop war has started I might need to get in on this. Any of you guys using CS4 yet?

Ooohhhh...I want in!

Some of the MacPros at our studio are using CS4. The new tab feature is kinda neat, but at first whenever we were moving a picture from one side of the monitor to the other it would get "lost"...then we'd figured out that we'd accidentally dragged it into the frame of another image and it was tabbed in there!

Yeah Im on CS3 at my house on my mac, and at my work we are still on CS2 I know its pretty pathetic especially for being a design/marketing firm in the bay area, but we already put the order in for CS4 design premium suite extended license to install on all our macs at work and maybe install it on my home computer *crossing my fingers

I'm keeping cs2 just because I don't care about cs3 or cs4, but if there really is a nice feature you guys know about in them that I don't, well I'll download the newer photoshop from a torrent lol

Yeah there is so much too hate about Mac's they are reliable, fast, innovative... I will take my PC any day full of service pack 3 related driver errors, and dont get me started on vista. I actually own both Mac and PC. Using my PC for gaming, and my mac for design and everything else. Both have their pro's and cons but if I had to choose one I would take a Mac over a PC any day. I do have to admit Macs are extremely over priced, but i think its well worth it for the reliability. Also I am in the design industry (both print and web) and Mac computers displays are the best for color matching for print.

Just my two cents

Generally, people that know their way around with operating systems will take a pc instead of a mac. AOL generation will take the mac because it's more idiot proof . Other reason for a mac is because not soo long ago they where graphical powerhouses compared to pcs . now a days, thats not the case anymore, proof is apple are using intel processors lol. apple's Powerpc architecture is dead. Some people don't like xp, because it's a fact that it's way to intimidating for n00bs, and it's always prone to lots of catastrophics failures if you have "hide extension of known files" checked like most of the n00bs hahaha.

I'll take my xp pc ANYDAY over a crappy mac and for the price of a mac i' could build a KILLER pc setup with raid0 arrays and sli dual graphic cards and quad 19inch screens.

anyways, people with MACs are either Unix PROs are "normal people".

pc users that like their PCs are part of the ELITE mouhahahhahahhahah

Agree 100%Torrents FTMFW.

I am not a fan of macs either. I could never use a mac, everything I know about a PC would be lost. But macs are very good for design and music editing. I also hate Vista but thats why I use XP. The PC I am building right now costs half as much as a mac and will destroy it. I can watch movies in 1080p on my 40" TV without ever having to burn them. And eventually be able to create my own Blue Ray movies.

i have a mac and i think its great, the only setback is that most of the programs i need are only for windows but it is very "idiotproof" ill agree with that but how is that a bad thing?? and it can do pretty much everything a pc can. and my imac looks almost as sexy as my a/c

I'm liking the idea of where this design looks like right now, especially the bottom, and hope you take it further. If not, I'm going to give it a shot!

It's better but I am not digging the design.

Now on the photoshop job.

*You can see the tire threw the right bottom portion of the front end. *The edges and effects are way to blurry. *The bottom center on the inner grill is to exposed, it shouldnt be so slanted from the angle the pic was taken at. *The bottom should be flatter and not so pointed. * The vents on the side are also way to slanted. Remember this is a car level straight on picture.

This is a big improvment from your OP though. Good work and keep practicing. With time you will be able to drop some jaws like our photoshop jaw.

P.S. If you shopped the amber strips out of the lights, good work.

thanks infantry..but anyway i got a quick question..you think when they re-do the headlights and stuff like another 3 years for the A\C, you think they are gonna make the headlights look like the maxima's and the 370Z?

probably, plus there will be after market set ups out pretty soon. I don't think they will change the actual shape of the lights for quite some time because then it would be pretty much a completely different car. But they may start blacking them out and comeing projectors.
