I wonder what they had to do to the transmission and differential to get it to handle that?

Listen to the way that thing idles! Some big cams, huh? And that turbo was pretty big in itself as well. Possibly a bit too much for the slicks as they still were slipping through the gears. Who needs an SR20?????????????

do you know if that was a CA18, or was it a stroker CA20? anyways, that's impressive for a tiny engine.

I know of a guy that had a 95 with the KA24DE built up with a t66 that ran a 10.6 with 565 at the wheels in full street trim minus the backseat and spare tire why wouldnt this one run like high 9's would it be just torque difference or what.

It's called too much power and not enough control. And if you can squeeze that type of power out of such a small motor, then that definitely tells people that the CA18 is definitely up to the task like the bigger bore x stroke of the SR/KA. Lord forbid if he had the stock rods in there!

Anyone know what the redline of that engine is? It sounded like he took it up to abour 7500 on that dyno vid.

I bet the redline was a lot higher than 7500...that big of a turbo, he is making all of his power way up in the rev range, I would think it'd redline no lower than 9000...but I could be totally wrong :)

I agree with that, I'm aiming for 220-250 whp with whatever engine I end up with, which will be MORE than enough to get me into plenty of trouble.

Sorry for reviving a thread from the dead, but I now have a project S13 and have some questions. Looking at the Garage Pady website, it looks like they sell 5 lug hubs for the S13 that are bolt-on(or so it would seem) any one able to confirm/deny this?
