1) I wouldnt rely on that ebing sufficient, some places have denied warranty based on intakes..Exar-Kun wrote:
1)So if I had proof it was a GL4 apprved/rated oil, it would not void my warranty?
Sweet.
2)I'll get some redline 10w30 for my Z in a week for the oil change.
THanks for the input!-Chet
Abosultely.Dealers respect redline and Nissan recommends in all but deep freezing temps ( they only have the 5w-30 marked as "preferred" for "all temps"cuz their cars get mpg/EPA tested with that fill, but for all but very cold temps 10w-30 and 10w-40 is recommended)Exar-Kun wrote:the redline 10w30 for the motor is safe though, yeah?

I assume you're talking about the MT-90? Both the MTL and MT-90 are GL-4 for nissan, etc..but the MT-90 seems to be better suited in its service description for higher/harsher temp conditions.350zQ45a wrote:I'm running Redline all around. Noticed a very nice difference running the MT high temp transmission fluid. Also nice knowing my engine is getting the DOM P of fluids.
Definetely worth using the best.
