oilpump issues

when i was new to this forum i had concerns with low pressures on all the 240's that i was seeing and buying for parts.my idle pressures seemed way low to me even though i was told this was normal for this engine.so just as an FYI for those of you with the same concernstoga offers a high volume pump now,seeminly on sale for the ka.also nismo offers stonger springs that increase the pressure even though i don't believe that it increases the volume of oil. they offer an inner and outer spring for the standard oil pump and can be used separately or in combination. We used to do something similar to increase pressures on similar pumps simply by adding small washers at the base of the spring for you low tech guys who haven't dismissed us old hot rodders altogether.cheap but effective.for whatever this may be worth to you.this may save you a little searching around
