Sounds like a serious problem. Take it into the dealer. You won't find many members with an issue like this. I'd suspect you have a leak or your car is consuming way too much oil. I wouldn't think the aft would be true since you didn't speak of a blue trail behind your V.

That's definitely not normal. If possible, keep a sheet of cardboard under your car when you park somewhere and see if anything other than condensation from the A/C is dripping from your engine bay. I'd also open the radiator when it's cool and dip your finger in there. If it's oily (oil floats ot the top) then the head gasket is leaking oil into the coolant or the after pump seal is bad.

In the end, it probably need ot be looked at by the dealer... but it's best to have some hard data to point them in the right direction instead of guessing.

Are you sure you're checking the oil when it's cool? Are you wiping off the dip stick first, then reinserting it to fully seated position every time to check the level? How low is it? It's doesn't need to be at the full mark... anywhere between the high and low mark is OK. You actually can get a little more mileage and power in some cases if it's filled towards the low side.

If you have under 5000 miles? how much have you added each time? how many times has this occured? adding a 1/4-1/2 quart every 5000 miles is not considered unusual by most car specifications. Some oil evaporates from the crankcase and gets burned in the engine. I think the thinner 5WXX oils may evaporate more readily.

That being said, I haven't noticed and measurable concumption in my engine. My accrod used 1/4 quart every 5000. My '03 Corolla used no measurable amount. My '91 Tercel even after 120,000 miles never needed oil added ever.
