You can tap into the drain plug (or get a pre-tapped plug).

The Greddy Oil filter relocation kit had a place for temp and pressure sensors. That is always an option, and you get the bonus of not covering your alternator in oil every change.

Yup, the Greddy oil pan and relocation kit give you TONS of places to mount sensors. I think the pan has 1 place, and the relocation has 4.

I'm assuming the relocation kit would be a suitible place to mount a oil pressure sensor?

You can mount it in the adapter plate that screws into the block where the oil filter used to go. That is VERY near to the stock sensor so I think it should be fine.

I don't know if I would mount it in the remote block, but really haven't tried either (yet).

Does anyone have pix of a relocation kit mounted on S13 or S14?

Okay.. thanks.. that works.. I think i'll just get one of those. It makes things easier. Not much extra money (i'd have to get that $50 nissport adapter anyway). What about if I want to add an oil cooler later though?

the greddy oil cooler runs off the oil sandwich adapter (which also has hook ups for sensors)

Ya, at that point it would suck, how important is a oil cooler for drag racing?

I am really not that sure, but I would think that it is less needed in drag than other motorsports (i.e. roadrace when you are reving you motor for 30 min. straight.)

I would just get a gauge and watch the temps. With you only running the motor hard for <15 sec per pass I wouldn't think one is really needed.

I do some top end pulls too though.. Like 40-140 and stuff like that. Not too often though, mainly drag. Is there any way I can buy a cheaper oil cooler? Or make one?

Yeah, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. I mean even top end pulls aren't that long. I guess that is my opinion anyway. I mean it is not like you are going to be bouncing off the revlimiter for 1 hour + like some guys.

You can buy an oilcooler core from several places (I think B&M makes a decent one). Then you will have to fab up some lines. Personally I just got the Greddy oilpan. I holds an extra quart and also has fins to cool some. Aluminum too.

Ya, I think i'll just get the pan. Does anyone have a pic of it installed? I want to see if it hangs down at all or anything. I'm gonna get the oil filter relocations, then later get the oil pan.

Sorry it's pretty big. Remember that the view of how low it is can be influenced by the angle of the camera.

Got any more pictures? Is it the lowest point in the front of the car? I'm worried about it hitting. I'm on stock suspension but i've rubbed my downpipe before..

Try this.

If I remember right the pan does not hang down ANY lower than stock. It just has the extra capacity on the sides. Let me know if you want to see more pics, I have them, just not any on the car.
