oil squirter torque specs

does anyone know the torque specs for the ka24de oil squirters? the FSM mentions them, but doesn't have the info i need. i'm looking to finally start the build this weekend if everything goes as planned. thanks in advance

I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to, but if you can give me a good idea of what you're talking about, then I will look up the specs on our Mitchell system at work tomorrow and let you know ASAP.

The squirters under the pistons, they use torque bolts if I recall, I would say that it woud be FHT as long as you don't strip them.

I had the same problem as you when i did my build. Fsm metioned it but gave no spec and mitchell had nothing on specs either. I just torqued them to 18 ft/lbs and hoped for the best, 3500 km later no problems. hope this helps you.

thanks but the engine has completely assembled about 3 months ago i ended up tightening them down to about 20 ft/lbs myself
