What is the torque for the squirtr? And I got a gasket set with cork oil pan gasket. Would you use one if it was rtv'd first. Or no cork just rtv?

No cork. Use OEM nissan sealant crap, its much thicker than RTV.

Which gasket set are you guys using? Is it just the CA18DE one or do I need to hunt down CA18DET gasket kit?

Have fun with that cork gasket. Maybe if you spray it with something it will seal alright.

i ment to say always use sealer with cork, unless using a rubber gasket then u usually dont use sealer unless its certain circumstances (halve moons on valve covers, corners for oil pan..etc)

Cork gasket = FTL. Just ask Greg...and me... They always leak. Nissan just used sealant crap, why wouldn't you?

The Nissan OEM gasket stuff is much, much thicker than that RTV. Permatex will probably work fine, but the Nissan stuff makes it so much easier.

what do you mean you will see about the half moons? Those need to be in place regardless, its your option to run the cork, or RTV, or rubber. My rubber one exploded, floats dry installed cork weeps, and it seems Tim has also had issues getting his oilpan to seal with it.

TOYOTA total seal packaging ftw however, ask anybody in the automotive industry and that is what you will conclude.
