I know this topic has been discussed however I haven't found a solid answer to cure my SR20's issue. I have an SR20 s14 blacktop that is basically stock engine wise w/ a FMIC, HKS intake and 3" turbo back exhaust but also has had a turbo xs BOV to atmosphere installed by previous owner. After driving a few hundred miles on fresh oil it begins to smell fairly strongly like fuel. My compression numbers (psi) are fine in the 150's ,fuel pressure is good according to factory manual and AFR according to my AEM UEGO wideband is stoic at idle and cruising and around 12 at WOT, so good as far as I know. I have also replaced all o-rings on the stock injectors and cleaned them well. The car drives fine and pulls strong I just don't want to damage my engine from the fuel in the oil(spun bearings) or washed cylinder walls. My question is, does anyone think this is being caused from the BOV to atmosphere? I have looked around and many say this could be the cause but I also know that this is a common mod to SR20 engines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
