Oil Shower 240 SX

When i pull the oil filler cap off of my newly acquired 240 SX, i get a bit of air pressure and dots of oil on my glasses

PCV valve ?

Worn valves ?

Normal ?

wow you got yourself a squirter.is the vehicle running when you open your oil cap? if the engine is not running then it doesn't sound normal.

It sounds like the PCV is bad.It's job is to ventilate Positive Crankcase perssure. You should replace it A.S.A.P or gaskets will start to go (like valve cover.)

It's not that difficult to replace, just a pain in the *** to get to.
