oil seal in a gt28rs

is replacing the oil seal in a gt28rs something that can be done by myself or would i have to pay a shop to do it?

ball-bearing turbos such as the GT28RS are not serviceable. the whole center section must be replaced as a whole = hella $$$. sorry.

yeah that sucks if your oil seal went out...;ole 95lstegman said...your going to be turbo shopping...My oil seal was bad in a used s14 bb t28 I had so I ended up going with a gt28rs. You have to make sure you have a restrictor before the inlet to the turbo

the oil inlet is directly on top correct? so you cant use the factory line... ? also what type of restrictor do you use? what size? .06? and what about the banjo bolts? I probably sound like a idiot but I dont have my turbo or my lines yet so I'm trying to get these parts without looking at it so I can put it on as soon as it gets here.
