I have a RB26 with a single on it and my return line keeps leaking. It does have summit fittings with a -10 line. I just replaced the whole line and made a brand new one and the S**t is still leaking from the Red Part of the fitting where the stainless steel hose goes into it. Here is the question. I am using the front port as the only return and blocked off the rear. Now since the hole out of the block is pointing down there is going to be a little build up of oil in the line before it goes back to the pan. I hear that Summit fittings are garbage and leak all the time but on a return. There should be no pressure!!!!! Do you guys think that it actually builds up that much pressure to back the line all the way to the turbo causing the ghetto fittings to leak?

I could just replace the things with some earls good fittings but there might be a bigger problem here. If the line is full of oil it will blow the seals on the turbo. How do i check if there is pressure in that line????? Thanx for all the help

I am sure they are tight enough. This is the second line and second set of fittings. Time to spend some $$$ on some earls stuff

Funny, I am pretty sure there is a forum for RB specific threads somewhere around NICO...
Might get more help over there.

Locked.
