oil return lines?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

what are people using for the oil return lines?, for a top mount rb20/25 setup, the oil return fitting comming out of the rb20 block, what is that thread pitch ?, could i run a 6an fitting from there to the oil return off my garrett turbo?

that was for the water line and the main oil line to the turbo not the oil return, so if someone could atcually help and post what the thread pitch is for the oil return , that would be great thanks

someone please help i need the oil return for my top mount rb20, what all do i need what earl fitting do i need to use for the blcok also what size line should i run 6 or 10an ?

right now all i need to no is what the thread pitch is on the block for the oil return on the rb20????? and when u buy the threaded adaptor for the turbo that thread pitch?? plz help me thanks

used -12 ss line, not the cheap 3 buck a foot, the good stuff costs 12 per foot, use the factory oil retun fitting that goes into the block, -12 fits over that, and for the fitting for the turbo, if you have a t3 style outlet ebay sells the adapters for 5-12 bucks,

AN-12 is way over kill, -10 is more than enough.

lol, ok well save the extra 3 or 4 bucks and run a -10, your turbo not mine, i ran -12 sorry id rather spend the extra couple of bucks and run the larger return line

LOL you are funny. It's not about saving $, it's the necessity and being realistic---it is NOT necessary to run AN-12. Your main concern is don't let more than 5" of horizontal/downward lax/slope on the return line; so oil doesn't pools along the line.

Think about it, your feed line is tiny; it's a fraction of the capacity that would take to fill up an AN-10 line.
