What does everyone use for a oil return hose?I am using one of these flanges and one of those barb fittings with a straight piece of hose......

The problem I have is that the hose kinks slightly where it makes the bend to go to the oil pan. I think a 5/8" 45 degree barb fitting would do the trick....but I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I use a pipe with the flange on the end. At the very bottom a small 60 degree prebent section of hose going into the pan return.

Actually, I did see this one.....when I picked up my parts from atp directly when I use to live near Fremont....With that 45 screwed into the flange....would that allow a piece of hose to curve without kinking? My thoughts were to get a 45 with barbs on both ends, cut the hose in half and place it there.

If you want this may be a bit more work than you want to do. Take off the oil pan, cut the barb off and weld on a 10AN fitting. You can use 10AN push lock fittings or use SS lines.

Can you take a pic of this kink?

Yeah, that maybe a little more work than I would want to do with the engine in the car. Here's a pic before the engine went in a year ago. The hose isn't really kinked here, just kind of gets flatter where it makes the turn. When I was under it a few weeks ago changing the oil, the hose looked a little more flat than in the pic.

What kind of hose is that? Are you using coolant hose for the return?

No, it's hose designed for oil.....Goodyear. Got it from Autozone.....not cheap, like $5-6 a foot I think.

I learned my lession a long time ago with using hose designed for coolant on the oil return. Talk about a sweaty mess....haha

I just use the stock long metal thing with a short bit of hose connecting it to the block. Why would you guys use anything else?

If you want grab some 10AN SS line and slip them over the barbs. They sell clamps that slip over the and they make them look like fittings for a cleaner look. The SS line wont as easily as your hose and the braiding will reinforce the line.

Which tube are you using......the ca t25 tube? I can't remember, but seems like I tried the ca tube on my t25g, and it didn't line up right with the nipple on the oil pan......or maybe it was the t25g tube on the t25g didn't line up with the pan.....hell, I can't remember now.

the SS manifolds will make the turbo sit lower and forward so the stock piece wont work.
