how do you get oil to the turbo on a ka-t? is there some kind of line that you can tap off of, or do you have to drill the block? just trying to clear this up, thanks.

ok, first you really need to search. but i will help you out. you get the oil from your oil sending unit, located under your oil filter. there is a sensor that is screwed in there. you get a T fitting and screw it in there, with the sensor in one end and run an oil line from the other end to your turbo. and to drain the oil, you run a larger line from the bottom of the turbo, down to your oil pan, which you will have to drill and put some kind of fitting or elbow in. this needs to be towards the top of the oil pan. search and you will find more info on this with more details.

and make sure the fitting you screw into the block is bspt and not npt.

I have heard for the oil line, you need some sort of restrictor line, is this true? how would you set this up? and what is a good size for the oil feed line?

-3 or -4 AN. I'd probably go with a -3 AN line. or you can go as big as you want and use some kind of restrictor or device that regulates pressure to the turbo, but just keeping the line size down is easiest. You just need to keep the turbo from seeing too much oil pressure or it will leak past the seals.

-3, and for the restrictor they usually go between the feed line and the male-male fitting that screws into the feed hole of the turbo. some turbos already have restrictors built in them. my tdo5-20g does.
