hey, i was wondering where the restrictor is located on the HKS bb turbos. Specifically, GT2530. I know this is a "general turbo" question, but hopefully someone here has some insight. I have read that one of the eye bolts (the one closest to the inlet) has a restrictor on it when you buy the HKS turbo kits. can anyone confirm? If this isnt true, do you need to go out and buy your own oil restrictor?

or make one.......the rb20 has a built in restrictor in the banjo bolt on the stock feed line, not sure what the size is tho.i made an aditional restrictor for my gt30r by tapping out the fitting into the turbo and drilling a .039" hole in a set screw and putting the set screw in the fitting, works pretty well but i broke 3 bits trying to make a hole that small.

thanks guys. i am going to remove my turbo oil inlet tomorrow and take a look. i just checked my old (also BB) turbos, and they had a restrictor on the banjo bolt. the HKS ones should too i'm hoping.

yea i was looking into those restrictors on atpturbo. however, it seems like if you're using the hks supplied line and parts, they already come w/ a restrictor built into the banjo bolt.

the restrictors you linked are basically for a custom line you run if you can't use the supplied restrictor
