Hey guys.......i'm new here and i have search alot and i have found out that you need Oil Restricton..........

Now i have just went KA-T and i bought a brand new sr t25 and i am using a -3 AN line with no Restrictor on it and i'm burning oil only when i hit boost or when the oil press is high........ my oil press is about 25 PSI at idle and it goes up to about 50 or 60 PSI on boost.......some times 70 + when i get on it ...... it does not burn oil at idle, it just burn it when i boost or the oil press it up.........so would you say i need a oil Restrictor??

Thanks Guys...........

it could possibly be that your turbo is just bad now. since you have a t25 and considering those turbos are pretty damn old...it wouldnt be suprising. however since oil restrictors are cheap anyway, you should buy one and test it out. try ATPturbo.com i know they have a oil restrictor for ALL T series..i hope they includes a t25.

well like i said.....its a BRAND NEW TURBO.....i've only put like 200 miles on it.........and i went to ATPturbo.com and i looked at the oil Restrictors they have...... it will work on my turbo setup, but will it supply enough oil to my T25?? i'm just afraid that i will kill my trubo.....does anyone know if it will be safe to run that oil Restrictor on my t25 with a -3 line???

really need help on this one guys......

You can check the master sticky (for edub1) and you will see where you can get oil restrictors from Mcmaster-Carr.

ok.....ill take a look at it.....

P.S. if a oil restrictior is needed, then what's the correct oil restriction size for the T25? 0.035 or 0.060??

I know .60 is it for the T3, I can't think of any reason it should be different for the T25. Be sure to look under DIY Oil Lines for the post.

ok...i took a look at the post......i'm thinking that my oil return line might be too small.......i'm going to buy the -10 return line and see if that fixes the problem

That certainly can happen, and cause serious beef with the bearings when they overheat.

I ran a .060" on when I had my t25... then again that was with 4 AN lines... not sure how the 3 AN would affect that... Maybe get a slightly larger restrictor?
