oil pump upgrad needed?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I will run a dual oil filter relocator kit plus an oil cooler , I am not sure if the stock pump can handle the extra restuction speically the cooler, by the way I have a ka24DE , anyone of you had any experince with that? is it really need to upgrade a oil pump ? what other recommandation ? if so can I run a inline oil pump????

No experience here.... but you could always measure the before and after oil pressure and see if the oil pump is cutting it. Make sure to measure after the cooler and stuff.

But I would also like to know upgrade options for the oil pump since I think mine is shot... just crossing my fingers that the engine ain't.

I have found a site in the past that ahs an upgraded oil pump. If i wasnt lazy--id look for it online, but dont feel like it. But i would buy that upgrade pump and get it out of theway--just be sure its not too much oil pressure. Thatll cause the shaft seals in the turbo to go bad.

I've been running an FMOC (Front mount oil cooler, heh) for almost a year and have had no problems with starvation or anything--I don't have my filter relocated though, but the oil lines are pretty long and the filter is a decent size.
