no one is replying to this because of your "no money to get a gauge, LOL" approach. the answer is obvious. get a gauge if you want to know your oil pressure, its like $30. if the oil pump is dead your motor will not survive a minute of running. even a gauge is mostly a reactive thing, by the time you see something is messed up it's usually too late. but if you get a gauge and oil pressure is consistently low you will know your pump is on its way out or something is wrong.
another good indicator if you want to save money is to just the run the motor until it spins all the bearings.
