ahh man your in the same boat i am. A decent oil pump is about 1000 dollars, and you might as well get a new oil pan baffle since it will aide your engine. you can get cheap pumps but this will probbly happen again. I have been told that the best way to change the pump is to pull the engine. I am almost done pulling the engine right now. Check your turbos, if they had a shortage of oil there is a chance they are worn now. Since i have my engine out i am replacing all the bearings, gonna check the pistons and rods, all the gaskets and seals, metal head gasket, soo on.. http://www.RHDjapan.com seems to have pretty good prices or if you want stock you can find it on ebay cheap.

yah no kidding. Well the crank looks pretty good as far as i can tell, the bearings took the abuse, all the connecting rods look good, pistons have some scaring on the top sides nothing bad, and it looks like there was some dirt in the cylinders, honing them will clean up at leat 5 of them, can you bore a minimal amount out of the sleeves? like 10 thou or something very small? if needed. The turbos also have side to side play not alot but a little so they are being replaced and the cams need to be machined but the head looks good, i will have it pressure tested. the oil pump is good but u can see where the crank was hittin and where failure would result eventually. so my next step is taking the crank the bare block and the head over to the machine shop across the road from my shop and see what they say. I used http://www.Rhdjapan.com and had my engine gasket set in 3 days to canada. i figured i would order something small and cheaper first to test em out.
