I have seen a couple sites where they say that the oil pump oil hole and dimple on the spindle must be lined up even after they have been put back in. Yes, after you have put the spindle/oil pump assembley in and the spindle rotates due to the distributor drive gear, it should look like the pic below?
Are they full of it, or should I start pulling my hair out now?
